how do you clean a record without damageing it?

ive been using this micro fiber cloth but it sounds likenit get caught in the ridges whitch cant be good so what would you recommend

Use a lint free cloth. The same kind that are used to clean glasses. You can also try order a website called discdoc.com for a cleaning solution. Also try dust the inside of the dust sleeve in the record.... Dust can also acclimate inside. Also try dusting the platter on the player or try finding. A felt mat to put down on your turntable. The most important thing when cleaning a record is not to put too much pressure other wise you can push the dust even deeper. Hope this makes sense

huh u go to walmart and get the wipes to get that cleans camereaocoerder and glasse

If it's just dusty, use an air-duster. If it's got crud or something on it, then soak it in lukewarm water for an hour and then blow it off with your air-duster. That's what I would do anyway.
