Depends if your printer/scanner is connected to your computer or not. If it is connected then you should either be able to choose where you want to save it when a window pops up or it will save automatically to a preset location on your computer. More then likely "My Documents" or "My Pictures" depending on what you are scanning and how it was set us. If your printer/scanner is not connected to your computer then usually with newer models there should be a USB port or a multimedia slots you can use to save what you are scanning to. The USB port you will put a flash drive in to save your document. The multimedia slots are for cards that come from a digital camera. Once it is saved to one of these portable devices you can transfer it on to your computer by finding the same slot. If you computer does not have a multimedia slot you can buy a reader to plug into your computer at any computer store. Once the document is saved on your computer and you are logged in to your email, click on compose a message. Depending what you use for email, somewhere should say the word "attach". Click that link to upload your document. The key is to always remember where you saved your documents.
Scanning the document and saving it to the computer is probably the most work that one will put into the project. You may want to save the document to your desktop so that it can be quickly located for use. Afterwards, you can upload or attach the document as you would any other document. If you are not sure, try emailing it to your own email address first.
When you scan the document, select where you would like to save it. The best place to save it would be to Mydocuments. When you are ready to send the email, select the attach link located within the email. Then point the directory to where the document was saved, in this case it would be Mydocuments. Click on the file and select open. The file will then be a attached to the email.
Hi, I hope I can solve your problem. First you will place the paper or image or any thing which is to be scanned on the scanning plat form then you will close the door of scanner. and then you will perform scanning. Here once if the scan completes the scanner software prompts you to save the scanned image or not, at that time you can select the location where to save that scanned image. choose the location and save that image. some times you can save it in the form of PDF style also.once you saved it in a location. remember the location, where you have saved. other wise some times it will be set to be saved in images folder of my documents section.next once you compose the mail , you will get the attachment option in the mail , from there you select the location and image where you saved it. bye hope you will get it
