Ive been driving my car. Just turned it off. How long should i wait before i can take off the radiator cap?

You can open radiator cap in 45 min but if you want to add water while the car is still hot then you must have the engine running otherwise you would blow up the head gasket

Best time to add water is when car is very cold in the early morning and before you start the engine
