Can you collect unemployment if you quit?

In answer to your question it says that in most cases, if you voluntarily left employment you are not eligible for unemployment benefits. However, if you left for "good cause" then you may be able to collect. This is determined by the state unemployment office and you may be able to make a case as to why you are eligible for benefits.

Just think if that was true how many people would quit? Also our taxes would be way way way higher than they already are.
