Ive been lifting weights for 6 months and I was adviced to rest for a week..thqt there is when "placibo" start kiking in ...what is placibo?

I think you mean a plateau. That means your current regimen has stagnated and your regime needs to be changed a bit. Add a new element to your workout. If you have been lifting heavy try lifting lighter with higher reps and shorter rests. Add a new type of cardio machine or activity. Our bodies need to be kept in a state of muscle confusion to make gains.

Thank you Robert, I became certified as a personal trainer a few years back. The legendary Tom Platz was my instructor. Amazing guy, he taught me so much.

Placebo is a fake medication designed and administered in the same way as the original. It is used by physicians to asses how effective the latter is. The results of taking placebo are called the placebo effects.
