Can I freeze un-opened cartons of Tropicana pure orange juice?

The cost is going up and I want to stock up a bit. I don`t really like anything but Tropicana Pure not from concentrate. (no pulp)

This question is found on the FAQ section of the Tropicana website. Their answer is that their packages were not designed with freezer storage in mind. During freezing expansion occurs and this may damage the container. This can result in juice leakage and exposure to air, which will cause the juice to lose flavor and nutrients.

From the above answer it sounds like if you put the Tropicana in a different, airtight container & leave room for expansion the juice should be okay.

The package of Tropicana is not suited for freezing. It will buckle up or expand upon cold storage and will spoil the contents on thawing them again from cold temperatures to room temparatures. Dont freeze them but store in cool dry place
