Because people think it's a better quality answer with ask.com and also you can get other peoples opinion... But it takes a wile.....and you could just google your answer and get practically the same out come....maybe even faster..

Maybe they use both? Maybe the answer they got from google sounded too robotic and they wanted it in layman's terms.

because sometimes google may be wrong..and because we people have more ideas and more mind to think rather than google....we should not keep up everything in google...:)
