you really shouldnt mix alcohol with medication not knowing what effect it will have on your body, everyones body reacts differently, specially since you have to ask the question, meaning your not sure yourself so why risk it?..maybe ask a doctor for the CORRECT answer or call a pharmacy ;)
Agreed, ask a doc or pharmacist or read the note that comes with them. If you have taken them for a while and they are working for you, you could have a drink, maybe maybe 2 but that is plenty. No more.
No, it is not safe to drink liquor or wine while on beta/toprol blockers. These beta blockers are used to treat illnesses such as heart attacks and panic attacks. Alcohol will make the medicine non effective. The bottle should have a warning on it saying not to mix the medicine with alcohol. Even if there is no warning you still should not drink! Talk with your doctor and ask if alcohol is Ok in your case but you really should not drink. I hope this helps!
