If you are around extremely large quantities of alcohol for extended periods of time (like if you work in a winery, brewery, or distillery) you could carry some of the odor. Other than that, you could smell of it if booze was spilled on you or if you sat in a puddle of booze. You will not smell of booze just by being near drinkers. It's not like smoke... The notion of smelling because you were near drinkers is silly and ridiculous.
Yes, if you live with someone,are friends with someone, or have been around someone who drinks alcohol than it is very possible to smell like it but not drink it. Take cigarettes for example, if you don't smoke, but have a roommate, or live with a family member that smokes, its very likely that you smell of tobacco.
