my husband loves it. it's mainly a war game where you shoot people with various types of guns, and get shot. when you go online you can talk with and play against people from all over the world. it keeps track of your ranking, kills and number of times you've been killed. it's pretty realistic.
Now, it depends which call of duty you mean and your tastes: if you mean either black ops or MW3 and you are a team player, you are either not going to like it, or will try to join a clan immediately; if you just want to go around killing stuff, and like a good plot, then its your game.
Yeah call of duty is a great franchise(specifically the modern warfare games). Honestly though, in my opinion if you enjoy vehicles, realistic gameplay, bigger matches, and teamwork oriented playlists you should buy battle field 3 instead.
Well it depends the one that you are getting. The new MW3 is good online but unlike MW2 it doesn't have the best story line. But Black Ops is ok if you haven't play MW2 for it is a bit of a back step quality and Depth wise. The extremely old early 2000's and 90's are very good for their time and are still quite a decent game today. So I would just get MW3 because the multiplayer isn't full of hackers and there is a wide Multiplayer community so you can find games that fit you.
This game is great if you like first person shooters , there is a variety of game modes and weapon picks, you can play with friends, there is mini games and a campaign. i play it and its fun Modern warfare three is great for beginners, because you could be confused if you play an older one first and then that one. I would suggest renting it and seeing if you like it or play at friends!
