Is a consistently high heart rate dangerous?
I have pretty low blood pressure (99/54 sometimes lower but never over 115/75) but my resting heart rate is always high (usually in the 90's but one time last week was 102). I thought it was because I always have to wait at least 2 hours to see my doctor, however even at home it runs in the 90's at rest. It has been this way for years. I have chronic MS, Lupus and some other funky neurological disorder that I can't spell. I rarely exercise and my diet isn't that great. Is this high heart rate harmful and what would be the causes? Thank you.
