Does anyone know anything about staple repairs on porcelain teapots? Found an old teapot with several staple repairs.

Staple repairs on porcelain teapots are broken household items which were taken to a metal smith to be brought back to life, often with whimsical results. Once regarded simply as damaged goods by antiques dealers and collectors alike, antiques with inventive repairs are impartially receiving the respect they deserve.
