Someone loans youmoney n says don't worry about paying it back anytime soon n 1month later is asking for it. Is that rude. It was his ideal

he said at first that I could pay him back when I get on my feet. he knows that I'm not there yet. this is my ex boyfriend

No it isn't rude for the person to ask for the loan back after a month. He was kind enough to loan it to you and gave you time to repay it. You should appreciate him loaning you the money. He has given you a month. Try to work it out with him by repaying a little at a time back. He may need his money for himself.

Tell him what he said a month ago and when he asks about it, kind of change the subject until the thing blows over

I agree; a month is enough time to expect at least a partial payment.

A definite repayment date should have been made regardless of him saying "don't worry about it right now". Would've saved future confusion. Ask for a specific date of when he wants his money.
