Love yourself, be true to who you are and who you wanna be, know your past, learn from it. Expect nothing but goodness coming your way. treat others the same way you want to be treated and last but NOT least, love what you do for living
I would never ask that question - as many people try to find out what makes other happy and "force" themselves to be happy doing the same thing as others
For example I noticed that my mother does not like the beach, however she used to go to the beach with the pretext that "those that go there must know something"
So I would say do what ever makes you happy: be open and true to yourself and dont be afraid to admit that you like something (at least admit it to yourself). For example I like hip-hop, when I was at school i locked my brain in thinking that any other music is shi**. However now I am open to all kind of music and found that theres so much good stuff that (if I had to) I would gladly give up listening to hip-hop at any time
so the point is what makes you happy the good thing is that (in my opinion) things that fill use with joy don't tend to be those grand events/moments. But rather those little things that we do ever day. We just need to let them make us happy: for example depending how you dring your coffee, it could be relaxing or disgusting (if you rush it)
If your suffering from depression, then take little steps like putting sticky notes around ur room saying "Smile, happy looked good on you" etc. Being sad is..it gives a hopeless feeling, I've been there to. So just surround yourself with people who make you feel a bit happy you know :)? Anywho, good luck and I genuinely hope you get happy <3
