I just said "I love you" to her as a friend...why is she making it sound like something more?
I said I loved a girl named Sophia and she knew I meant it in a friendly way. But she never said it back...so her bff decided to call me and she also decided to put Sophia on the line without me knowing (she just told me to mute it). And Sophia picked up. Then her bff asked "Do you love ____?" and she said "Yeah I do, but love is a strong word so I'll tell him when the time is right...don't tell him though". And I didn't understand because I said "love" as "I love you as my friend" and she made it seem like it meant something more. I don't know. I do like her as both a friend and I would go out with her. So should I talk to her about this? I like her so should I make a move or no? Am I overreacting/being paranoid?
