I have had increasing shin pain over the years. How can I tell if I have decreasing bone density?

When I run its really painful, I am a bit overweight but I've ran at this weight before with less pain. How can I learn to run more technically and what is a good source of D and calcium other than supplements or milk?

You can tell if you have a decreasing bone density if you experience recurrent leg cramps and muscle pains, fragile sluggish growth of fingernails, a decreased grasp strength, diminishing gums, a loss of height and a reduction in general physical fitness. Visit a medical doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

It could be shin splints. A bone density test is very easy to have done. Of course you'd have to see a doctor.
