My computer started freezing, then could not shut down without unplugging, now no Internet and system restore unsuccessful. What's going on?

It's difficult to determine why your computer does not have internet as it could be something simple. You would need to examine the Event Viewer System log files from the system which can be accessed by right-clicking on My Computer then going to MANAGE and EVENT VIEWER then SYSTEM. The errors will have a red exclamation point. Internet issues could be a number of things but it concerns me more that you are not able to shut down and are simply unplugging your PC. This can corrupt your operating system which will require you to do a Repair-Installation or a clean install.
