My gf is a us citizen about to have my baby im a uk citizen in uk. i want to move to be with her whats my best option

You can apply for a visa like the tourist visa where you can stay for six months if that would work with you. You also have the option of relocating to where she is to be with her and your child as this is a good idea too. The other option would be to move her from U.S to U.K and I think it is a decision the two of you should make together as there are some factors you need to put into consideration.
