If your iPod touch is saying unable to join the wireless network i have a NETGEAR router

Report as

I tried everything suggested on several websites, even watched a couple youtube videos. My wife complained of the same problem and I fixed it by ensuring that the Router Wireless network mode supported b/g/n. I realized that one day I had the brilliant idea of exclusively using the wireless n capability of my netgear router. Fortunately several months later I recollected. Just use either b/g or b/g/n mixed mode.

Reboot router and modem. If still not working go into settings of router and check if it's accepting clients to join wifi.

I've had troubles with my iPhone (same network setup as iPod Touch) connecting to my router at times. In some cases I just rebooted my router. In extreme cases, I went into my iPhone Settings and Reset Network Settings, then re-added my connection.

I used to have a NETGEAR and I had to enter the MAC address which is called the "Wi-Fi" address on the iPod touch, that might be a solution
