How can I change my Assurance phone number to my old phone number after I stop my plan with
Verizon?

Is it possible to do this change?

You can change your Assurance phone number to your old phone number after stopping your plan with Verizon by consulting their support desk. Verizon wireless has a deal that will enable those customers that want to exit to do so in a specified period of time.
