How many years in college do you need to take, to become a nurse?

Report as

You need at least two years of college to be able to get an associate degree. If you want to pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing, it will take you 4 years to complete the course. On the other hand a nursing diploma takes 3 years.

I don't know but legislature may be passed soon to make it so requirements are more strict. Just wanted to let you know.

I'm in nursing school. It depends I what kind of degree you want. You can get your RN in 2 years but if you want your BSN which most employers want these days its 4 years at a university. I can tell you that the requirement for this program are extremely strict. Make sure it's what you really want before you go into it. I have to keep a 3.8 gpa and my classes are very difficult.

Depending on the program you choose, you need a minimum of two years (ADN) and a maximum of four years (BSN) to become a registered nurse (RN). A nursing diploma from a hospital-based school requires three years for completion. Of course, graduate studies may require additional schooling.

An ADN program is a popular choice among nursing aspirants and provides comprehensive clinical training to graduates. If you are planning to join the nursing workforce, then you can consider the ADN nursing program at CollegeAmerica. Find out more details on their website.
