My iPod safari isn't working and I can't fix it.

Every time I open safari up on my iPod (4g) it works for about 15 seconds and them cuts back to my home screen. I'm not pressing any buttons or touching the screen at all, but it keeps cutting off. Also, I'm pretty sure it's not a network thing cause it happens to me wherever I go. Are there any simple solutions or will I just have to go to the apple store? (FYI: my iPod isn't jail broken, so I know it's not that)

You should try to reset your phone in order to rectify such problems since they are related to the phone's stability. Reboot your phone for about 8 seconds and when the apple logo appears, reset the apps which might be running in the background. If the problem is still there please visit apple since it could be a software problem.
