That is slow, however, it is a good heart rate if you are athletic. If you are on blood pressure medicines such as beta blockers (meds usually end in -lol) your HR could be in the fifties. Do you get lightheaded or dizzy especially when getting up from the lying down position? Are you short of breath or have chest pains and memory problems? If you do, then your slow heart rate may not be normal for you. Your doctor should be able to order a 12- lead electrocardiogram to see what's wrong with your heart.
