You can usually remove the stopper in the bathroom sink by twisting it. Be careful, I have cut my fingers doing this before. Try to use Draino in the clog, let it sit, then try to run hot water down the drain. You can try to plunge it too. Sometimes things will get clogged in the trap and you can loosen this from under the sink to clean it out.
Rheada has some experience. I got an unplugged that is neat. It is like a 15 inch of bandsaw blade made of plastic that has barbs on both sides. Drop it into the drain all the way down, pull up and it looked like a drowned mouse on the end. All the hair was removed and bingo, a clean drain.
To remove the stopper, look under the sink. You should see where the stopper is held ad the end the stopper lever arm. Disconnect, and remove stopper. Often this will also remove a clump of hair, toothpaste, spit, and whatever else goes down your sink. If this alone does not work, take a straightened wire hanger and bend a small loop on one end. Poke the looped end down the drain, and try to "snake" the clog out. If you get grease, try HOT water. Then try a chemical (there is better than draino at the hardware store) If all else fails, call a plumber as you may have a larger problem.
