To become a doctor, how many years of college do you need, and what do you need to graduate with?

Report as

You first need a bachelors degree in some biological science or premed degree. Then study your butt off for the mcat and pay a bunch of money for about 6 more years of school. Be absolutely sure you want to do this forever before you begin your schooling because it's difficult and extremely expensive.

To be a doctor, it takes 12-14 years after you graduate from high school. When you finish High School, you obtain a bachelor's degree from university. You should then take and pass MCAT. For more check http://healthcareers.about.com/od/physiciancareers/ht/MedicalDoctor.htm.

Here's the thing. ONLY ONE OR SO graduates per class get to become doctor. It isn't easy. The others become teachers or something like that. I suggest you go for doctor only if your really into it!
