What is an example of a bias

Someone is on trial for killing a homosexual . The judge is homosexual . He is more likely to find the person on trial guilty , because he has a personal bias . Another example , I am a black female with a dead beat dad . So every man with a child that does not live with them is dead beat to me . . .i am biased . If both sides have not been represented equally then the source is biased because they are giving a one sided point of view or heavily leaning towards their own point of view. In a court system all the facts must be presented for the judge to make a ruling. "Never judge a book by its cover."
