When texture,what kind of sand should be used to make it looks like stucco

Washed and sifted sand (can be bought in bags at your hardware center. Don't use plain beach sand; it will have pieces of clay and rocks in it.

Just go into Lowes or Home Depot and tell them you want washed sand to be used in mortar or stucco. It can be any brand, and probably will be different brand names in different parts of the U.S., or the world for that matter.

Easier way... No offense barb......get your tape and bed smooth and roll paint with a tight foam roller. Looks the same.
