OK i have a $800 nikon D5100 and it it wont take pictures but the cam still works idk if its the shudders or if its somthing els?

and all it says is error press shutter button again and when i do that nothin happens..only thing happens is when u are looking through the lens it moves a little to the left

Confirm that your camera is not in playback or review mode. Ensure the memory card is in the camera and that the card is correctly formatted. The Memory Card may be full. Also replace the batteries if necessary. If you have been using the flash it may be recharging. When recharged, the camera will be ready to take pictures again.

well one thnk i didnt realy mention witch i should of but the strap gave out and it droped and the camra still works but it just says error presses shutter button again could it be the camra or the shutter broken
