why is there air on earth

Report as

The Earth has an atmosphere that is a mixture of gases like nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide. Due to the bulged nature of the earth’ s surface, the atmospheric pressure is different at the poles and the equator. Due to difference in pressure, molecules get displaced from high pressure region to low pressure region and this flow of molecules creates the feeling of wind or air.
