Is it just me or do you think the down economy is making it harder for young adults to find their first job?

I've been looking for my first job for the past 1 1/2 years and have had no luck finding a job. I have applied everywhere that I know of and only have had two interviews both with Walmart. Anyone have any tips?

I agree with you. Young people are having a harder time, when it comes to a job. Older people are unemployed and will work at any job. These jobs were usually taken, by the younger people. Think outside the box and make yourself employable. Start a dog walking service and do anything for people, that will make you money.

It is hard finding a job! If you are willing to do almost anything and work hard then this should convince someone to give you a chance ! That is exactly what I would tell them and then ask them to give you a start
