Yes. The laws passed as part of that movement effectively granted extra standing for court challenges to all sorts of negative outcomes involving African Americans (and other minority members), on the grounds that they might be based on discrimination. This additional standing is, as a practical matter, not effectively offered to whites. If a WASP is fired, or arrested, or sentenced, the chances of him getting a judicial relief based on a claim of "It's because I'm white!" is preeeetty small.
no but if you think about it if it wernt for all the slaves whites would have nobody to farm for them and if no one farmed for them they got no money and If they had money they would move out west and settle there. so if it wernt for slaves it would have taken alot longer to settle in California or new Mexico or any other place in the west
