why does a boomerang come back

Report as

The curve of a boomerang is like a wing so when it's thrown the wind catches in the "L" shape of the wing which gives it momentum to come back. There is a lot more to it than that: http://www.ccmr.cornell.edu/education/ask/index.html?quid=841
