Average amount of sleep a 17 year old should get a night?

sometimes at night I have a hard time getting to sleep, and no matter how much sleep I get I am still tired when I wake up.

You need between 8 and 9 hours of sleep at your age. You should try to go to sleep at the same time and make sure that your room is dark and limit electronic devices in your room at bedtime.

On average, a human should sleep 8 hours a day so that should be enough for a 17 year old.

Alot cuz ur still growingg.. My brother is 16 and he can wake up at 1:00pm every morning.

I sleep for 4 hours every day and im 15... Is that okay??????

NO obviously not!!! thats not okay for any kind of human... regardless of age! at your age sleep an extra 4 to 5 hours plus your normal four hours
