how is erik erikson's theory used today

Report as

Erik Erikson's theory of social development is used in understanding the behavior of a person as he goes through what he defines as the eight stages in human social development from infancy to adulthood. According to this theory, the way a person acts in the adulthood and latter stages may be explained or analyzed according to how this person has successfully (or unsuccessfully) completed the previous stages.
