you could either share it with you closest friends or anyone of your family members who are willing to stay with you and trustworthy enough to accompany you in your home. i hope this helps, if it does, pls. press the thumbs up or write a comment about it.
Travis, I would recommend advertising your place through a locator's service. They typically run a background check on all applicants so at least you would know they have a good history of paying on time, etc. I would maybe look for someone who is in school but is studying in the educational field, or medical. These people are working toward careers that rely heavily on a good reputation and can't afford to cause trouble. Or maybe even connect with your church or the churches in your area to have them "advertise" the need for a room mate.

I wouldn't advise advertising the fact that you live alone, this may invite disreputable people from taking advantage of you, robbing you or worse. Stay away from dating sites, on-line classified ads and the newspapers. Keep your information quiet and close to home. Speak privately with family members, a minister, home care provider, doctor or nurse. If they don't know someone personally, they may be able to direct you to a safe contact. None of this advice will guarantee you'll find the perfect roommate, but it will keep your situation and information safer. Even when you do find a "nice" person, follow the security check advice from "Dailynews" (above) and do your homework. *Just saw the post from magevents and that's a great suggestion too.
you should try Care.com. you can search for peope to watch your home, stay in your home with you to maybe help preform daily tasks. i dont know what exactly what your looking for, whether it be a maid-type person, or someone to help you get around like a nurse. but Care.com prettymuch has it all. i'd try that. hope i could help(:
