Where do i ask a question about my yamaha outboard motor

my 2000model yamaha outboard engine is 200 hp and in acts like it want run over 2200 RPM the man i bout it from said it was a saftey feature on that boat if it had a bad battery i replaced the battery and the problem continued it cuts back real bad i give it any more throttled

The best thing to do is ask the Yamaha dealer on this one. Those motors can be a pain . I never heard of a safety feature letting you know the battery was bad. I know they have safety features that control the throttle .

go to your local yamaha store, go to the place where you got your boat, read you owners manual that might help
