Can you go from the reserve to active duty without having to start all over in ranking

You can get out of the reserves and then go active duty... But trying to transfer to active duty from reserve status is tough. The request has to be approved by allot people... Just go straight active duty bro...

In the military your money is based on your a rank. So a E-3 cook gets the same as an E-3 medic etc.., what I mean is try to get a job that will make you big bucks when you get out of the army. That way the army will send you to schools and training on their dime and when you get out you can walk into a position in the civilian world. Communications, intelligence, aircraft mechanic, electronics are some examples of civilian jobs that are making decent money,
