On my macbook pro it spelled my name wrong, how do i fix it?

i already went into system preferences and switched it but when i use ichat or Microsoft word it still has my name spelled wrong. i tried calling apple help but they are no help

If your Mac Book Pro spelled your name wrongly, you can fix it by going to Systems Preferences. Next, go to sharing and edit the name to the correct one.
