How do you calculate miles per gallon from litres per 100 km ?

Car companies in Canada express the fuel consumption of cars and trucks in litres per 100 kilometers. For example my car averages 7.5 litres per 100 kilometers. how to I flip that around to miles per gallon, which i would understand better.
