A strong solution of ammonia and hot water with detergent as well should do. Please be careful not to use to much ammonia, as you shouldn't breath the fumes. Perhaps an open window with a fan to supply fresh air. Good luck.
Cream of tartar and white vinegar work well to remove it. It is about 1 oz cream of tartar to 8 oz vinegar (1 cup to 1 gallon). I have used this method and it worked very well for me. I don't like to use harsh chemicals .
A simple solution is to dissolve Cascade dishwasher tablets in hot water. Pour on 3 x 3 area of floor. Let sit 3 -4 minutes. Wipe up by stepping on towels and scrub -skate over the wet area to puck up all the goop. Works great on tile as well.
