do crunches help to flatten stomach

Crunches work the muscles of the stomach. A crunch will work the abdominal muscles making them tighter. It will not cause you to lose the fat that is over the muscles though.

It will make you develop muscles in your stomach, not flatten your belly. Crunches is more effective with jogging.
