Ok I need to know were I can get a fast video card that has 1.1v and is pci express for my P965T-A motherboard?

Report as

I believe you can get a fast video card for your motherboard from your nearest computer hardware store or local store around. You can ask for one with the specifications you require and if not, I am sure they can refer you to some other place.

eBay has all kinds of good cards for around $50, or you could buy the same cards at your local shop for usually twice that. Buy Nvidia though, that's where it's at. :)

ok but I want to know if I could use a video card that has a hdmi port and is 3d on my motherboard and is 1g and is 1.1v? So how would I lookup video cards that have 1.1v?

That might be a bit trickier, you'll probably have to look around to find a decent card, and then check the voltage on it. You can find all that out before you buy it.

well do you know about the esc elitegroup P965T-A motherboard? Do you know if I can use a 3D and hdmi with 1G video card on my motherboard?

I just checked it out, if this it...

Then yeah, you should have no trouble running the type of card you want. The thing to watch might be your power supply, you want probably 400w minimum.
Report as
on the power supply I'm going with 600w and I looked at the website and it was on help and thanks for your help. So do you know who I can talk to online to help me find the right video card I'm looking for?

Uh, not specifically no, sorry. All I can really suggest there is to get an Nvidia card, but not a regular card straight from Nvidia. Get one of the cards that other companies take and pimp out. Like Evga or Msi, they both buy regular cards and add more memory to them, and sometimes they overclock them too. For example, I've got a Geforce 9500 GT, nothing special. But mine's the Evga version, so it's got a gig of Ram, while the normal Nvidia model only has a half gig.

did you get it online and were did you get it from? So you dont know if my motherboard can use a 3d or hdmi video card?

I got mine at Radioshack for $100 and then saw it on eBay for $50 the next day, haha. I'm positive that your mother board will run a hdmi and/or 3d video card. And if you'd like an example of what I would suggest you look for, check this one out.

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/NVIDIA-Geforce-GT-2GB-DDR3-PCI-Express-Video-Graphics-Card-HMDI-DVI-VGA-2-gb-/220901925516?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item336ec7e28c#ht_1138wt_952

Something along these lines would be great for just about anything, including watching 3d movies in hdmi.

O by the way how is the galaxy video cards?

Perfect buddy, you'll be all set for playing games and watching movies then. I'm a little jealous, actually lol. :)

I don't know about the Galaxy ones, or even the one I gave you the link for, lol. There are a lot of different companies that trick out video cards, but I think that Galaxy only does Nvidia. In fact I think that Galaxy might be a part of Nvidia, or a partner or something, I'm not sure. I've only had Evga, Msi, and straight Nvidia cards so far. Well, and some Ati garbage, but they don't vount lol.

the 3D tv's are not that much at wal-mart and they have wifi apps as well and under $400

Nice, I should start saving up,lol. First I gotta get my CPU that I've been eyeing up though, a Core 2 Quad at 2.8 for $200. And then I'll be wanting a new video card of course, lol. And THEN I'll need a fancy new monitor. :)
Report as
do you know if the core 2 duo is any good or faster then the pentium D?
Report as
BlastedRemnants
Just Pentium D? Nothing else in the name? I don't think I've heard of that particular unit. I know that they add a D on the end of some of their models to designate something, but I'm not sure what exactly. Like, I know there's a Celeron D, I've got a few of them kicking around myself lol. Anything you'll ever need to know about all Intel CPUs can be found on the Ark though.

Oh ok, I found the Pentium D on the Ark, any Core 2 Duo should eat those Ds for breakfast. :)

BlastedRemnants
Well, maybe not the very bottom end Duos, I guess.
Report as
well I mite run with the d until I get the money for a new cpu
Report as
ok how would I find out how high with cpu like 3.4 because I lost my book to my motherboard
?
Report as
BlastedRemnants
Do you mean, how to find the fastest CPU that your motherboard will run? Odds are that it will run anything that you can find for that socket, right up to a Core 2 Quad Extreme. But, if you go back to the support site that I gave you for your board, somewhere on there they should have info about that sort of thing.
Report as
ok I'm looking now
Report as
BlastedRemnants
If you look around, you'll see a few little tab things above the general specs. Hit the one labelled "CPU" for a chart of all the supported CPUs for your board. Turns out I was wrong about the Quad Extreme lol, but you can run the Duo Extreme. I gotta go though, my download is finished and it's gaming time now, haha. Good luck buddy, I'll check back here tomorrow to see if you needed anything else. :)
Report as
it doesnt say all it says is the name of the cpus I can use ant lga 775
Report as
ok I found it
Report as
is the extreme better then the core 2 duo
Report as
BlastedRemnants
Hi William, sorry I've been busy LANing it up with my friends, lol. Anyway, yeah the Extreme is a bit better, but I wouldn't say that it's better enough to be worth the extra price. That's if you can even find one, they're not terribly common and they usually go for about a grand.
