Well if you ask from a religious standpoint, here it is. Jesus claimed "I and the father are one" thus stating the fact that he was God. He also said that God has "...always been and always will be" meaning that god has never had a beginning or an end. therefore Jesus along with the rest of the trinity ( Father, Son, Holy Spirit) have been around for eternity. Please read on.

However Jesus was born in September of 3 B.C (please note: Christmas was not his actual birthday it was simply the day the wise men arrived with there gifts and they celebrated his birth). thus he has been in the human form since then. A resurected form since his death yet still holding the form of humankind. therefore if you are asking about his age in human form the correct answer would be 2014 years old.

Jesus was born and he was "died" on the cross. God is not born nor does he die. Your whole argument falls apart.
Report as
Jesus Christ WAS born to the virgin Mary and died 33 years later. 3 days after his birth he rose again. stayed on the earth forty days and then "assended on high to the right hand of the Father."
Report as
What I intended to say there was 3 days after his death he rose again.
Report as
"Death" is the key word here. God is immortal and Jesus "died" so obviously Jesus did not always exists if he ceased for 3 days where as the Father is everlasting.
Report as
Jesus's physical body died however his immortal spirit went to hell to take the "keys of hell and death" from Saten . When he rose again his body was renewed immortally his spirit however was always alive while the Father was still alive and the holy Spirit was always alive. The key is that the same body that Christ took on at the conception was destroyed at the time of his death. therefore he died not eternally simply on earth.
Report as
Another thing to note here is that all human kind have a spirit and when they "die" they simply leave their body and go out into eternity. No one really "dies" in the truest sense because after death is life eternal. whether it be eternal damnation or eternal life.
Report as
If it were the physical death alone that atoned for our sins, then Abel would have fulfilled that. He was the first to die for be any better.
Report as
That is an impressive sermon. Now I'm following you.

The prevailing issue is that Jesus was sinless and therefore pure. Because of that he could take on the sins of the world go down to hell and rise again. No other man or woman could do this because no one else is sinless.

Once he rose again his efacatious and everlasting bloodwas capable of washing away our sins. Because his blood is pure and sinnless there again no one else could take that position because no one else is sinless. He is our advocate to the father because he is sinnless the list goes on. "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" Romans. And "All our deed are but filthy rags." Isaiah
Report as
If Jesus was sinless he wouldn't have been baptized by John the Baptist when he was 30 years old. Only sinners need baptism.
Report as
In this case, we should all behave like animals, and kill and eat each other because it doesn't matter because that's what your rant seems to be implying.
Report as
Absolutely not. It is quite clear that is not what I am saying, and it is also clear that you simply wish to pick an argument, Nevertheless I will elaborate.

To state that Jesus Christ sinned is quite clearly against any spiritual teaching including the bible itself but to say his baptism proves he had sinned is simply preposterous.

Baptism itself does not cleanse one from sin but is an outward demonstration of a persons clean heart and their plan to walk with God from there on. When Jesus was baptized he was our role model, showing us how to act. Under no circumstances was this a cleansing from sin as a matter of fact it was saying to the world he HAD NO SIN.

Only a sinnless man could rise from the dead of his own accord. Only a sinnless man could influence men's hearts to be willing to die for his cause. There is absolutely no evedence of Jesus ever sinning, in fact every scripture lines up with the fact he was sinnless.
Report as
You should study traditions and customs of the first century Jews. What you call "baptism" is actually a Jewish purification ritual. Jews would immerse themselves when they came in contact with something considered as impure. They would even immerse themselves before entering Solomon's Temple. Even if livestock came into contact with something spiritually unclean the Jews would take their animals to a river and say a prayer and immerse it. Muslims do "baptism" more than 5x a day. This has nothing to do with sins or Jesus. When Jesus got baptized on the Jordan river, he was only purifying himself along with others.
Report as
Yet despite this fact of old religious practices at the time of his baptism Jesus was introducing his ministry for the new testament, and a new covenant. Instead of being forgiven by the blood of animals and purified by water, his blood would at the time of crucifixtion be the effecatios cleansing for our sins . Once again, he was our role model, throughout his entire ministry this is what is outlined in the entire New Testament, over and over again by the gospels, Paul, Peter, John and even Jude

Actually....I just redid the math and since there was no year "zero", He would have been born in the year 1AD, which would make Him 1 year old in the year 2AD. If we follow that logic, then He just turned 2010 on Dec. 25, 2011.

i hate logic! lol jk

Actually if he died at 33 he'd be 2035 my bad.

Ad means after death. So he died at 33. Plus the 2012 since.

So 2045 my bad

@donipool AD stands for anno Domini which means "in the year of our Lord", indicating in the year of He was born and still lives today.

Well from what I learned from my mom whom went to catholic school he died at the around the age of 30 and then he was supposedly going to get resurrected. I saw an article saying they found jesus's tomb but I'm not quite sure if it's true or not. Usually I can be gullible at times. :)

I assume you are asking about Jesus as the man Christians believe to be the son of Christ and not Jesus as the all-powerful God (who has no age).
To answer your second question first, to find out how old someone is, you count years from their birth, not death. It is estimated that Jesus was born between 7 and 4 BCE, i thing
33 when he was killed..in human animal years..Jesus isn't an age,he's ageless & timeless. Time for mey to catch a nap.

The historically correct answer would be 34. This is the age when he was crucified. The answer from a religious perspective would be the above mentioned 2012 + 34, or 2046, because we started counting years only after his death (A.D.).

The binle says all men are without begining or end.Mortal life is one step or page or chapter or speck or piece of your whole life. Your life is composed of three steps. First pre mortal life in heaven before birth which you forgot.
Second where you are mortal life on earth. Third post mortal back where god sends you when you die. So the answer is the same age as you me and everybody else ageless and timeless.

This a problematic question because there is no definitive answer to it. First off if you want to know when his birth was it goes like this:
According to Christian tradition he was born in the year 1CE/AD which would put his birth 2011/12 years ago(depending on what time of year he was born)
According to the Gospel of Matthew he was born about 6 years before that which would have put his birth in 6BCE/CE making it 2012+6=2018 years ago.
According to the Gospel of Luke he was born in the year 6CE/AD making his birth about 2012-6=2006 years ago.
But as well according to christian doctrine he the second part of the holy trinity, which makes him ageless and everlasting
According to Islamic tradition he was raptured to heaven so he would be one of the ages mentioned in the gospels above, and they await his return, as do Christians, but in a different way.
But as a man he was said to have been 34 years old when he either died(christian) or raptured(Islamic).
Now given all that, there is no viable historical records of him even having existed, it is possible, but not as the biblical person.
So there you have it.
