Check for free clinics, if it's infected, antibiotics will help with the pain until you find other options. Remember also if it becomes too bad to bear, emergency room has to take care of you no matter insurance or not.
You can get a down payment/loan type deal at some doctors where you pay a little bit of it and then you pay the rest later, tell them on the phone how you have no insurance, try different doctor offices, you can also go to a hospital if it's that bad, I almost decided to go to get my wisdom teeth out I'm sure they have some sort of check up for your teeth there as well.
Brush lightly 3-5 times a day. Use a good clean mouth wash. And dont drink from straws, or smoke. Chew food on other side all together. Also, mind power can take away pain. Release some positive endorphines. Goodluck.
I have the same problem. I've found something that works but I don't think it's all that good to do. Like you I have no dental. I take a full strength aspirin and hold it against the painful tooth until it completely dissolves. This will that several minutes. I really works for me.
Use ibuprophen. Its and anti-inflamatory as well as a pain reliver. take 8oomg every 6-8hrs. If its servere I can pretty much bet its infected and a simple filling wouldnt work for it anymore and a root canal is needed. If you want to save that tooth the only way will be a root canal which would be like $800-1200. If you can get a hold of some ammoxicillan 250mg, 21tabs, 3 times a day that will stop the pain-it could stop the pain for a few weeks or a few years..no telling. But until you get the root canal you will get the pain back-even worse....I'm not a dr or anything
