Its honestly different for each person, when I had mind pulled I was in a decent amount of pain for 4-5 days, but my teeth were also very impacted when they were pulled. I think the most important thing to do is hang low and don't try to push yourself to do anything before you are feeling better. If you do that you will be just fine, the pain is more than manageable.

I never felt the pain of wisdom teeth. Mine came in no problem. Taken out no problem. I didn't even swell up. It's going to be different with everyone, so best advice is not to worry. Most dentists do a great job. BTW my brother had 5 and 2 were impacted and he said the pain was still minimal.

If everything goes well (no complications) you are out of the worst after 2-3 days. For that short period you can use painkillers, so dont worry to much.
Its just how things are in life. Just think that just about all people have to go through this. And the pain of pulling is nothing compared to when a tooth really gets bad.
