If i take social security and my wife continues to work should i file my taxes separately from her?

i do not want to get taxed on this money if possible, but i see you can't show much in earnings or they deduct your benefits. is the answer to this to file married filing separately?

You would still file jointly because the tax break is bigger for filing jointly that in single forms. Basically, the government has all this figured out and fine tuned. There will be no advantage to filing separately. It will be fine.
