It is rumored that a big enough solar flare could send out a magnetic field strong enough to knock all the computers out, which would bring things to a stand still, giving us about three days to gather whatever we can to survive, then hunker down and wait for the most horrible things you never wanted to see :(

No. But things will get really ugly for a lttle bit. I'm talkin about people starving, people stalking around neighborhoods with guns, looking for places that have food and robbing and killing. Have you ever had your power go out for like an hour? Well if you have, then you know how much that stinks, you can't really do anything without electricity these days, well that's just one horrible aspect of what could happen.

Rob- I try to come here to have fun and give some good advice, but mostly for fun, that's it, some people are taking themselves and this site way too serious and yo be honest it just brings me down. I am constantly trying to joke and get/give a laugh and people take offense and so on and so forth. If seriousness is required for a situation, then I'm all about it, BUT all I really want is entertainment for me and the rest of us.

Lax- it's been happening, just not the magnitude of which I'm speaking. Look, you can't go around stressing about things you have no control over. Life is hard enough without walking around waiting for armageddon. All this talk about solar storms could just be a fear tactic. The more scared the public is, the more we just blindly follow orders and rules without question.

Don't worry so much over this they say it could happen but it could also be a little bit of nothing to get peoples minds off the elections and government just as the president of Mexico invented the choopacabra not sure if that's spelled right lol but he invented this alien like animal to scare people and get their heads in other places long enough to steal their gov money / just live your to young to worry

Lax - exactly you have no worries Hun I'm not making fun of you I'm making fun of the people that put these things in our heads when i was your age i felt the same way everytime one of these storys would come up you live your life as if it will be long and enjoy it as if this was your last day your young no time to worry
