Hi! I know of only 1. They were sweethearts since Jr. high, and through out high school. She was "queen and he was, yes, king" They both got scholarships to college. They swore they wouldn't have sex until they were married. (This is a true story, I swear!) They indeed went through their college educations and got married at ages 26 & 27. When they did consummate their marriage, they wondered what the big "hype" was about sex. It was like a fairy tale. Yes, they are still married. She's a stay at home mom w/ 2 kids and a dog, and works for charities & he goes to work 5 days a week. Bizarre hu? The perfect American family does happen! Have a great day. (It still amazes me!)
There are so many cases I have had and encountered with couples who have been together since high school. These are the guys who have found their soul mates and work on their relationship for the better. There is a couple who I know and they have been together since their childhood and are not yet married which is very interesting. I think it can all be based on the amount of work the couple is willing to do on the relationship and if they are meant for each other or not.
I like the first answer. However, statistically marriages from high school relationship end in nasty divorce. I forget where I saw this info, but it was presented to me when I was in high school dating a loser I thought I would be with forever. This usually happens because they feel they have held each other back from experiencing life and end up resenting each other. It would be nice to stay with your high school sweet heart forever but it is not typical.
