The conversion is 2.20462262, although it may not seem like a big difference, after working in the trucking industry for many years as a rate clerk it does when you get into converting tons, it's a big difference. We had to use the above equation, because of the weight allowance on a road, or train, or plane, it can make a difference in how the freight was transported. It also affects the cost for shipping the load.

There are 2.2 lbs in a kg.
So 100 x 2.2 = 220 lbs.
