I workout 4 days a week weight training (upper and lower body), I'm trying to shorten my workout to 3 days. Any suggestions?

You can shorten your workouts by increasing the amount of weight, or the amount of hours you work out. Talk to your trainer so that you can find out what would be the best routine to take.
